July 4th in Coral Gables

Miami’s premier July 4th fireworks can be found in Coral Gables each year. The historic Biltmore hotel hosts the spectacular again this year at 9PM, all will be MCed by CBS4 evening newscast anchors Eliott Rodriguez, Rick Folbaum and Irika Sargent. Music will be provided by the Greater Miami Symphonic Band who commences at 7PM. There will be food and drink to accompany the stunning show at this classic Gables event. This year also marks the city’s 90th birthday which means there will be some added surprises. You can begin arriving to the grounds at 5PM and there will be free parking through the evening at these three locations: University of Miami – Ponce garage and BankUnited Center surface lot, Coral Gables Youth Center, and Garage 4 – 345 Andalusia Avenue.

If you’re searching for fun earlier in the day, I recommend the 56th Annual Fourth of July Parade in Key Biscayne. You’ll find traditional floats, bands, and the island’s signature decorated golf carts. A Kiwanis Picnic follows on the Village Green. The Key also hosts their own Fireworks over the Atlantic at 9PM with an offshore display (info here). And Peacock Park in the Grove provides our neighbors with their own community fireworks show once the sun goes down. With so many waterfront options throughout our luxury South Florida communities, I’m sure your family will find the perfect July 4th fun.
