Fisher Island is the private island off of the MacArthur Causeway.
Known as one of the most expensive neighborhoods in Miami Beach, Fisher Island is the private island off of the MacArthur Causeway. The modern-day Fisher Island began to develop in the 1980s and is populated by Mediterranean structures. Founded by Carl Fisher, the island is now home to a hotel, an observatory, and a private marina for residents. There is a ferry that leaves the terminal (located off the MacArthur Causeway near South Beach) four or five times per hour, depending on the time of year.
Residents travel to and from Fisher Island on a ferry and on most days, you can find them jet skiing or heading to Key Biscayne for a game of tennis, a swim, or the lighthouse. Being close to South Beach and Downtown Miami allows for quick travel to some of Miami’s hottest bars and nightclubs.
The residents of Fisher Island have access to a marina and the beach. Enter a world of exceptional luxury and check out the Fisher Island Club. Play a game of golf by the sea, or enjoy a relaxing day at the spa.
For dinner, Fisher Island Club offers multiple dining options such as a delightful Italian experience at Porto Cervo or Greenside where you can take in the picturesque views while enjoying fresh salads and sandwiches.
Residents can head to Baldwin Richard Food Co. for groceries or take a ferry to Miami Beach and shop at Whole Foods. Retail shopping on Miami Beach includes Jimmy Choo, Armani, Apple and many more top brands.
