Fisher Island

Fisher Island defines private island living

WELCOME TO FISHER ISLAND

Known as one of the most expensive neighborhoods in Miami Beach, Fisher Island is the private island off of the MacArthur Causeway. The modern-day Fisher Island began to develop in the 1980s and is populated by Mediterranean structures. Founded by Carl Fisher, the island is now home to a hotel, an observatory, and a private marina for residents. There is a ferry that leaves the terminal (located off the MacArthur Causeway near South Beach) four or five times per hour, depending on the time of year.

PEOPLE & LIFESTYLE

Residents travel to and from Fisher Island on a ferry and on most days, you can find them jet skiing or heading to Key Biscayne for a game of tennis, a swim, or the lighthouse. Being close to South Beach and Downtown Miami allows for quick travel to some of Miami’s hottest bars and nightclubs.

PARKS & NATURE

The private Beach Club at Fisher Island Club features pristine white-sand beaches and shaded pavilions, offering a serene escape with views of the Vanderbilt Mansion Pool and nearby mega-yachts. For sports enthusiasts, the club offers a 9-hole P.B. Dye championship golf course and 17 tennis courts with all four Grand Slam surfaces, plus 4 pickleball courts. The full-service Spa Internazionale provides a sanctuary for relaxation, complemented by a state-of-the-art fitness center and wellness programs. Families can enjoy The Cove Kids Club, while the aviary and observatory offer unique experiences for all ages. With two deep-water marinas, members have convenient access to the water, and the Vanderbilt Theater hosts exclusive events and screenings. Island transportation is seamlessly provided via golf carts, ensuring effortless mobility across the island.

RESTAURANTS

Fisher Island Club presents an array of exceptional dining experiences. At the Beach Club, members can savor fresh, artfully plated sushi while enjoying breathtaking views of Biscayne Bay at the Sunset Bar. Theapolis & Library, located within the historic Vanderbilt Mansion, offers gourmet Mediterranean and Greek selections in an elegant setting. For authentic Italian cuisine, Porto Cervo serves classic Italian and Mediterranean dishes with a refined touch, overlooking the island’s Main Marina. La Trattoria provides a casual and inviting atmosphere, perfect for enjoying homemade pizzas, pastas, and fresh salads.
