The gated community of Old Cutler Bay was founded in the early 60’s. Old Cutler Bay is situated off of scenic Old Cutler Road and just 1 block south of North Kendall Drive. There are 134 homes in Old Cutler Bay, 127 of them being waterfront homes with no bridges to Biscayne Bay. The 10 foot wrought iron sculpture “A World of Its Own” which is predominantly featured in the main entrance of Old Cutler Bay, was donated by developer Albert Aronson to the City of Coral Gables and dedicated to the community of Old Cutler Bay in 1965. Since June of 1986, Old Cutler Bay became a voluntary homeowners association. Membership approval is not required to purchase or lease a home in Old Cutler Bay.
